Founded in 2000, NovusCG began with the recognition that most professional services companies do two things very well: 1) Create a wealth of intellectual capital through customer engagements and 2) Squander it quickly.

NovusCG set out to break the traditional professional services model. First, we encouraged innovation as an organizational competency—our "Innovation Model". In 2001, NovusCG developed our engagement methodology, Xcelleration™, as the fundamental building block of the NovusCG Innovation Model. Using Xcelleration, our teams quickly developed repeatable solutions—founded on best IT practices—to the toughest storage problems of the Global 2000.

In short, NovusCG focused on not only creating intellectual property but also preserving it in the form of field-tested best practices.

Today, NovuscCG has built a wealth of intellectual property which is continually updated and improved through the NovusCG Solution Center. The Solution Center, developed in 2005, is at the heart of the company's Innovation Model. Participating experts take ideas as they come up from the field, map trends and study their potential impact on customers.

This allows NovusCG to create the right solutions for today's customers. We lead with services, but we also have developed innovative software to tackle the toughest problems of some of the largest companies in the world today.

Today, NovusCG has grown to serve the storage and data management needs of many members of the Global 2000.
